Circle 6: (de)abscissa

With thanks to cList for Ginsu Rhythm Delay, Gabriel Mulzer for ErgoT-amine, David Dayneko for Dueling Ninjas and Splinter.

Machinate: Chain Groove

This is a live recording, directly to 2-track. Some editing has been done after the fact. Inputs are Weedwacker and a mic. Effect processing and looping is done with the Tsaf Micro, soon to be uploaded to the User Library.

chietronix: duBBing you gLitchy

I aimed at strange time in this song. I respect all Reaktorists. I experienced slump for music production. FAST FX called back my inspiration.

Levi: endomusia

Ensembles used: Kaleidon (Daliot), Kraftverb (Mulzer), Hegel (Meyer), Resynth (Walker-Hall).

Don Dailey: Free Groovin

I used some tracks I recorded using Agrendees and Steampipe 2 ensembles. Then I used 2Knees Comp to beef up the tracks and ran through various versions of Stotterhase. Enjoy!

Ethan Segal: Fun with Vectory

Mostly I use vectory ensemble in R5 (I love it so). I recorded all sound files with reaktor and then triggered them in live 5. I think the first loop is actually from newskool ensemble. The synth bass part is from oki computer. All other beats from vectory!

Trouble Penetrator: Punished Recapitulated Somewha

rachMiel: rareFaction

I took a couple of chances in this piece: 1) for the most part it's very minimal and fragile, with lots of silences; 2) the flow is VERY unpulsed/unmetered (except for a few short passages).

I created the material by plugging the Intellect drum map into druMMer v2, adding a flanger to it, and turning up the autorandomizers to high speed. Then I took the results into Sound Forge, edited out all the boring or inappropriate stuff, and listened ... and listened ... and listened ... until the form revealed itself.

dongle doc: tickyTok

square3 +MD2 and some beats in good grain stuff like grainstate etc. Just based on 6/4 madloop ens and some aerobic different meters ( like some good zappa 's ). Some skrewell and dubfix4 ... et voilà!

jopy: Tipped Clok Rev

This piece started as a live improvisation with two instances of 3x, two instances of randomstepshifter playing beats generated in newschool and sinebeats), and some very simple stochastic sinebeat generators. Additional pads were added from carbon2 later. The whole mix was finalized in sonar with flatblaster and spacemaster2.

Brian Kennedy: Triforce

This piece was constructed using my Sierpinski Triangle core fractal to trigger sounds from c-lists CL-909 with a 1/4t pulse rate at 180BPM. The results were mastered through Banaan Electrique and Flatblaster in Tracktion v1.

Joe Risch: Visiting Cows

I primarily used voice, acoustring, and effects such as flatblaster, braincloud, tt baanan remix, spacemaster, and some delay units.

Marc Busch: winter

An improvisation during a winter night ...
