Und zee fruit (with listener commentary):
Avant Hard: 8-Bit
Deft Trip
Skull-smashed together at a frantic pace one long day before the deadline,
my first Reaktor 5 (oki) export, represents another hard day's work
hammering little piggies in the abattoir.
Damon Vallero: Oki
the Rainbow
Nice rhythmic tics and stutters.
Digizilla: 3
Minutes of Oki Sadness
This piece was entirely generated with the Oki Computer II from the
r5 library. Its style is somehow progressive electronic beats with melodic
components. All in all everything is pretty simple. There are not many
variations of rhythm or melody. It's just pumping from the start to
the end. The more than slightly detuned melody sounds are an interesting
result for Digizilla, because it likes de-tune. The harmonic structure
of these de-tunes may put some kind of additional tension to the track,
besides the melody itself. Most parts were programmed with the SQP (also
from the r5 library) as midi control for the Oki, and after programming
everything was recorded to .wav files. These files have been cut to
the right length and were finally placed in an audio sequencer. Except
some automated volume fading there has been no further modification
of the sound. Almost all the Oki sounds were programmed by Digizilla,
too, except one pad sound originating from a Devine snapshot and a modified
bassline of which Digizilla has already forgotten the original snap.
To put this to an end, Digizilla really would like to contribute its
track on reaktions.com, as a fan, and as a composer. It is nothing outstanding
if compared to what has already been uploaded to this site, but a first
try. So be not too strict with Digizilla, it's just a harmless mutation
of the pure evil deadzillus. Regards, the representative neurotransmittive
deadzillus keyboard automator.
Wonderful lifting melody, tech basses and glitchy lines.
Don Dailey: Plasma Mix
Various Oki patches were used, altered, played with midi controller
and recorded into Recorder Box. These audio files were then edited and
arranged in Digital Performer. Only "effect" used was some
automated volume for mixing and the delay unit within Oki Computer.
Glistening blade runner textured throbs burning up midnight skylines.
dongle doc: okok
Decaying flies shed away a mystery behind the corner.
ElektrikZen: Okiko
Hay-wired computer insomnia.
Machinate: KeelC
Grooves, funks and shines.
rachMiel: March
of the Shambling Robotniks
Dark basses and chords pre-ignition this mad robot march for revolution.

Apartment on the Corner of Wolcott and Wabansia
Well programed clicks and bites punching along with a gameboy riff.
sowari: Oki
Lab observed r.e.m sleep tests for the studies of reducing stress.
