I was born in Baton Rouge, Lousiana but grew up just outside Washington, D.C. and later in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado where I now live. I began playing guitar in high school. After I finished my first year of college as a music major I dropped out for about 6 years. During this time I was a full time gigging musician and played all over the western USA and Canada. Once I finally burned out on this lifestyle I returned to school and finished my music degree at the University of Colorado at Denver. It was toward the end of my touring years and college studies that I became very interested in all things relating to music and sonic technology. At the end of college I got an internship at a local production studio which eventually turned into the job I still hold today. For 14 years I've written music for Brown Bag Productions ... which is now owned by a well known, and widely hated corporate media giant. Our clients include, well, almost every TV, cable, and radio brodacaster in the world. Doing a piece for Reaktions has been a real treat for me because for the first time in a long time, I could write something that didn't have to end at precisely 29.5 seconds, or 59.5 seconds.

Unintended (5.2 mb) - I used AcouString ver.2 (Thom), samples mangled by G-Loop (Brinkmann), Ice Pad, Alien Landscape, and others by rachMiel, SteamPipe ver. 3 (Zwartjes), Loop Tool (Brinkmann, Croft modified) many samples edited from Instrument1, and a couple from Black Rectangle (Nowak), the Dansant (Veliscek), and probably some other stuff that I can't recall ... mixed and mastered in Logic Pro.
